    Comenzamos eligiendo porque admiramos y terminamos admirando porque elegimos.

    The Spanish word elegir translated here as "choose" can also mean "elect."

    It should also be noted that the tense of elegimos at the end of the sentence is ambiguous: it could be either present or preterite (simple past).
